Escape the Box® is a wildly fun time travel adventure that transforms Austin into your game board. Crack codes, solve puzzles, unravel mysteries, and take on creative challenges as you explore either the historic Texas Capitol or downtown Austin’s lively Second Street District.

Prefer to stay cool? Our Texas Capitol experience includes an air-conditioned indoor option, so your group can enjoy an unforgettable Austin adventure without melting in the Texas heat.

Your mission begins with a live hosted introduction before your team is sent into the field with an irresistible collection of clues and artifacts: vintage maps, cipher wheels, mixtapes, telegrams, and more. Along the way, you’ll interact with public art, uncover surprising bits of local history, tackle clever challenges, and take hilarious photos you’ll want to keep.

Part scavenger hunt, part escape game, and part time-travel mystery, Escape the Box is designed to bring people together through teamwork, creativity, and plenty of laughter.

Explore the historic Capitol Building and discover details most visitors miss. Choose the comfortable indoor experience or ask about outdoor options when the weather is nice.
Available daily at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM

Second Street District
Take your adventure outdoors in the heart of downtown Austin, with puzzles and challenges woven through this lively, walkable neighborhood.
Available daily at 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM
